7.Sumo

A sumo player is somebody of heavy build and has unique hairstyle. The sumo ceremonies before the game takes a longer time than the game. This is a character of sumo and shows a highly stylized Japanese culture.
Sumo players are called Rikisih, the place that the fight is done is called Dohyo. Women never step into the Dohyo, because a Dohyo is regarded as a life base fighting where men hide. Rikisihs move towards the corner called Sico, and turn with their left then right legs. After that, they rinse [wash out] their mouths with lustral water, clean themselves with toilet paper and sprinkle salt on the Dohyo. This means it is to remove bad luck. Then, they face their opponent, do a Sico and prepare and get ready. The referee is called a Kyo Ji, and he gives competition orders so the two player's work in harmony. If any part of a person's bodies touched the Dohyo, the one who is pused down is the loser.
When the fight is finised, each player nod their heads and go back, and the winner and loser should have a poker face.
Even if a judgement of the Kyo Ji seems wrong, Rikisihs must obey absolutely. Sumo is a single-round match so losers don't have any chances. This rule shows Japans culture that Japanese absolutely obey superiors and they give emphasis on manners and formality.

6.Hot Springs

In geographical features, there are many eruptions of volcanoes, so a lot of hot spring areas were formed in Japan. Japan tried hard to develop this characteristic, so Japan became famous for being the country with the best hot springs.
The origins of the spring areas is that in the past, doctors who couldn't administer medicines to patients went to spring areas and they felt the good effects. So after that, a lot of people visited spring areas to cure diseases. It was the start of the spring area's history.

The spring area was a small business, but it would be Ryokan, an inn combined spring area which keeps tradition. Then, the spring area was vitalized. In the Japan spring areas, Ryokan means that it gives rest and composure to Japanese so the awareness about the bathing culture in Japan is very different. Japanese think about bathing as "Go wash your dirty body" but "Go soak your body in warm water."

5.Kimono

Kimono is a word composed of the words ki and mono which means whole clothing. However, after accepting the Western Culture, nowadays kimono means Japan's traditional clothing.
In the past, kimono was not distinguised for men and women. But in Edo age, women's kimonos were more fancy. Women's kimonos changed in more various forms and became fancier. Men had to wear kimonos as a status and show their class about form, dyeing and so on. A modern kimono's basic form is long sleeves and long clothes that are tied by an Obi. The knot toward the back is important to a Women's kimono. Kimonos have changed as years go by, and it is considered a beautiful and an eleglant piece of clothing. Modern kimonos are identified and are worn in ceremonies or occassions like how Koreans wear Hanbok. Therefore, there are many kind of clothes, shapes, colors, and methods to wear following the time, place and purpose.

4.Shrines

If you tour Japan, you will see shrines very easily. A shrine keeps a spirit tablet about Japan's indigenous religions. Japan's indigenous religion is a faith that controls the lives of Japan as a whole. In a shrine of the whole country, more than 2000 gods were kept and there were lots of kinds of gods like guardians or protectors and dieties of villages, people who made remarkable achievements, and so on. Each god had a position and grant different wishes too, so you have to make a wish as your wish.

Every shine has a small door. It was made for resting birds because Japanese believed that birds are enjoys of gods. Also, in the shrine's gardens, there are trees and on the branches, white papers were tied to it and told a person's fortune by drawing lots.Japan's festival, Matsuri, was an ancestral ritual formalities ceremony. Japanese believed that if people devoted their lives to take care of the gods, there lives will be abundant.

3.Festival

Japan's festival is famous for Matsuri . Matsuri means a memorial service or festival. More precisely, it combines memorial service with festival. Matsuri was an ancestral ritual with a formal ceremony, but it got settled as a region play-culture because the people of the regions prepared the ceremony together themselves. Matsuri was held as a fitting character of the region. The best Matsuri in Japan are the Tokyo Kanda Matsuri, Osaka Tianjin Matsuri and Kyoto Gion Matsuri.

Tokyo Kanda Matsuri was derived from commemorating the victory of Sekigahara battle by the Dokogawa Eayas in 1603. The main god of Kanda Matsuri is a guardian diety of the Dokogawa Family. The Palanquin and Cart Parade, which takes to an ancestral tablet, is very fancy.





Osaka Tianjin Matsuri used the characters of OSaka that was close to the river and oceans. The Palanquin that takes to a guardian diety of the regions transports flowers with a decorated ship.







Kyoto Gion Matsuri handed down since 868. It has a character that the card is made fancy by putting a spear or bow. This cart is called Yamabko, and the parade of this cart takes a quarter of a day.





The Matsuri festival is native to Japan, but it has become a world-wide festival, so many visiting foreigners do not cease to go to Japan because they want to experience the beautiful Japanese culture through Matsuris.

2.Food

Japan is famous for delicious food. Japan is surrounded by the sea, so there are a lot of seafood, especially, raw fish and sushi. When you think of sushi, you will think of Japan. Because there are many types of fishes, there are also many kinds of sushi. Sushi is food enjoyed by Koreans too.

Ramen and udon (noodles) are also eaten by a lot of Japanese. Japan's udon (noodles) and Korean's udon (noodles) are very similar, but ramen is very different. Korea's ramen is fried noodles , so it is wavy, but Japan's ramen is wet noodle and garnish ramen with many kinds of food like pork, chicken, eggs and so on.

In Japan, a bowl of rice served with toppings is also usual food. Peculiar things in Japan's food culture, they don't use spoons when they eat rice like Korean, they only use chopsticks and they eat the food, holding dishes.

That's because why I choose Japan, I want to go there. Japan is quite nearby Korea, but I never have been go there , so I will search Japan, I will know deeply about Japan. That help me to build extensive knowledge. If I go to Japan later, I already know a lot of information about Japan. ^^

Shrek

Once upon a time there is a beautiful princess, Fiona . However, the princess was under the charm. She had to receive kisses from lover. She was locked in the castle that guarding horrible dragon. A lot of courageous knights tried to rescue ,but they didn't succeed. She wait her lover and kiss on the top of castle. The outside of castle, there is very ugly and hug monster Shrek in cienaga. He enjoyed to took a shower with dirty mud, used fairy tale books as toilet tissues. One day, the Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan ,Pinocchio and so on visited his a place to find peace. Among the rest, the most troublesome was donkey. It turned out that stubby legs lord drove out characters in fairy tales. Finally, Shrek left to come to terms with lord. However, things went wrong, Shrek tried to rescue Fiona instead of lord.

This movie is very fun! Surroundings background is fairy tales, so more interesting. Though it is animation, is true to nature. After watching this movie, I realized real love. Even if Shrek is ugly arter all Fiona love him. I like handsome guy, so I didn't pay attention to personality before. Now, I think that one's inner character is more important than one's appearance.

The hero, Chun Sung Geun is alienated physical education teacher, but he think that his work is that look after children's health as physical education teacher. However, he had a crisis that he quitted physical education teacher or changed to English teacher. For several years, he worked out only his physical strength. He believe his physical strength, challenge English teacher. Even if he is over thirty years of age, he studied for exam with his students. In spite of worst situation, he did his best and he always had smile on his face.

Our school E.T reflects our reality that teachers fall into tools of entrance examination. Teachers aren't tools only for sending children to college. A space, School is also the same. Only sending children to good college is appraising standard to teachers and schools. However, if there are teachers like Chun Sung Geun in Korea, children can recall warm heart memories. We want teachers as Chun Sung Geun!

This movie treated social issues that became ethical argument as organ donation ,custom-built baby and parents's control about their children . Kate's sister Anna was diagnosed with leukemia. Kate was born as custom-built baby for Anna. Kate had to donate an organ constantly. One day, Kate litigated her parents to seek her body's ethical right over after life that she lived for her sister. A content that litigated her parents was not realistic, but Anna's decision was meaningful for she as founding herself. Also she only has lived for sister, so I think that her decision was not child act, was reasonable. During lawsuit process, the psychological maturity of Anna was worth notice. At first, her family was embarrassed, but they thought again about Anna's feelings. Therefore, this movie's shocking content was fresh and this gave a chance to think about real meaning of family us.

Speeding Scandal

This movie's hero Nam Hyun Soo was once the most popular idol star. Now, he is in middle of thirty, though he ride high so far. He is radio DJ. His radio program has a high ratings. One day, one radio listener Hwang Jung Nam who sent story to the radio station everyday, came to Hyun Soo with her baby. She claims that she is Hyun Soo's daughter. He is very embarrassed. She follows he like a shadow anywhere. Thanks to stalker Jung Nam, his perfect life is tackled. To make matters worse, he is embroiled scandal with her. He so resentful of her. However, He before one knows he accepts they as his family.

This movie is very fun. Because Jung Nam's baby is comic. Especially, he looks so funny. Throughout two hours, I laugh. Catch a glimpse of this movie, the story is very simple, though this movie is a box office hit. It makes a big profit with few capitals. I think that this movie is kind. Because this movie hasn't social ills and villain, so all family can see it.

These movie came out when lookism was rampant in our society. It's criticize the trend of public opinion. These days, many people have plastic surgeries. As these movie's end, it tells that beauty isn't all. Of course, if somebody have plastic surgeries, they get beauty and happy. I also don't beauty and slim, so I wanted to have plastic surgeries once. However, after I saw these movie, I think that the natural form is most important. If somebody love themself, they are best beautiful person.

Member Of The National Team

We are member of the national team in Korea!

The ski jump national team was constructed hurriedly for hosting the winter Olympic Game Jeollabuk-do Muju in 1996. The people who the ski jump was what, did not know, but the reason why they skied for a while, so they gathered and the South Korean first ski jump national team was formed. However, the coach who didn't know spelling of Ski Jump and players who hadn't experience, so training was difficult. They did without adequate practice range, protective device, they had to train wearing only motorcycle helmet, safety helmet of construction site. In their way, they gradually prepared as member of the national team. They were happy when they flew only leaning on skis. Finally, after much meandering, the South Korean ski jump national team participated in overstdorep World-cup. Though ridicule and disregard of foreign, players did their best, but they didn't put up a good show. However, they fished in troubled waters, so they qualified for Nagano winter Olympic Game. Though the South Korean failed selection for venue of winter Olympic Game, ski jump national team was in disbandment danger. They had affection and passion for ski jump and looked forward to participate in game.

These story is real, so there was main characters's real appearance in last scene. Sawing real characters did empathy well. I cried throughout watching these movie. The reason why their developments look beautiful, they went through various hardships. A ski jump were not famous in Korea, but thanks to these movie, Korean is interested in ski jump. This time, in winter Olympic Korean watched with great interest the ski jump game. I also cheered the our team. This time our team can't got good result, but I am so proud of they. Now and for ever I will cheer our team.

This movie story is 88 Olympic weight lifting copper medal list but after stopping a motion with extra prize, about the country the weightlifter who descends with coach middle weight lifting department met the country young girls. He which is impressed to the passion of the country young girls who are pure to real training for the children who is not will come and go lodging together small to make, rushes. The young girls in his effort to grow with the force putting on weightlifter, challenge to the olympic gold finally.

When I saw the movie, I cried plentifully. Because I was very impressed. This movie is being composed real story. So sentimental immersion becomes well. The man who had quited weightlifting with injury started again for girls he didn't want to start again though. From this contents the possibility of feeling a love was about his sacrifice psychiatry young girls. Also when the young girls go out to a conference, he dies alone and the scene which goes remains very sadly most in impression Actual feeling me of the players acting was very impressive.

New Moon

This movie is love talk of the vampire and the human being. Male hero is vampire, female hero is human being. In the man hero Adward the human Bellra the dangerous termination person calmly because of oneself, leaves her. Recently defending the Bellra longtime associate Jakob. But Jakob with the snake fire the second base which will write the wolf human in the Bellra and takes off Adward with the member of the family and puts and character does.

When encountering the accident whose oneself who is some day Bellra is dangerous every, the illusion of Adward is visible and to know the thing at last is rash falls from the precipice acts.

This movie is a sequel to the twilight. It's rare for a movie sequel to be a box-office hit. It's just as I expected. I'm very disappointed. Because story is very bored and improbable. Also, I like hero Robert Thomas Pattinson, but he was in a movie a little. However, the creativity of contents is interesting. So I will wait the next story.
